Jingle Jangle is about digging up old memories, getting lost in that dusty darkness, and letting yourself feel what you need to feel. It's about sitting with the sorrow and the blues in order to make it through. :)
Jingle Jangle is one piece of a song series written 3 winters ago from the deep chasm of a dark depression. I wanted to write songs that felt like christmas (synthetic bells... cozy chords... the softest, thickest reverb) yet were melancholy (and therapeutic) at their core. Stay tuned for the next song in this series!
