Peppermint is a song about pressing pause and embracing stillness in a wild world. It's about feeling all the feels and then setting them freeeeeee!

Peppermint is the second piece of a song series written 3 winters ago from the deep chasm of a dark depression. I wanted to write songs that felt like Christmas (synthetic bells... cozy chords... the softest, thickest reverb) at their core. Having since crawled my way out of that darkness, this song is a special reminder of how powerful it can be to simply close the eyes, turn off the head, and let it all go.
